Albany scored 5 straight goals at Maryland to erase a late 4 goal deficit and win out on a goal by Connor Fields with just over a minute left. Sophomore attacker Jakob Patterson put up 4 goals to to help spark the Danes comeback. Connor Kelly also had a great game for Maryland putting up 2 goals and 3 assists.

Maryland was up 8-3 with 7:30 left in the 3rd and appeared to be ready to run away with it, but Albany began a slow but steady comeback capped by Connor Fields scoring the game winner with 1:05 left on the clock.

An instant classic that validates both Connor Fields as the best player in the country (I put him just a hair above Justin Guterding) as well as proves that Albany belongs at #1 despite the fact their schedule goes the way of “cupcakes” for the rest of the season.
