Rutgers traveled down to College Park, Maryland to face the Terps in a Big Ten battle and while Rutgers was able to hang tight, Maryland and Connor Kelly proved too much, defeating the Scarlet Knights 11-10.

Kelly was a monster on the day, assisting the games first three goals before scoring his first goal of the game with 5:06 left in the first giving Maryland a 4-0 lead.

Rutgers would score the six of the games next seven goals taking a 6-5 lead on a Casey Rose goal with 12:59 left in the third quarter, the second half’s first goal.

After a couple of back and forth goals, Tim Rotanz gave Maryland the lead on an unassisted goal with 3:53 left in the game and Connor Kelly iced it 32 seconds later scoring an unassisted talley of his own.

Connor Kelly was the boss of all scorers on the day with 4 goals and 4 assists. Teammate Bubba Fairman netted himself a hatrick.

Jules Heninburg lead Rutgers with 2 goals and 2 assists and Kieran Mullins went for 2 goals and an assist in the loss.
