The Duke lacrosse squad hosted High Point on Wednesday night and came away losers by a score of 13-9. Duke often drops an early game as they usually play 4 or 5 games in February, and this proved to be the game as High Point played incredibel all game long.
High Point was lead by Asher Nolting’s 2 goals and 3 assists and teammates Chris Young (4g, 1a) and Ben Baker (3g) helped High Point to the historic win over Duke.
Duke was lead by Joey Manown’s 4 goals and a helper. Jake Seau had his second big game in a row putting up 2 goals and an assist. Riley Walsh went for a goal and an assist. Montgomery also had a goal.
High Point’s win is was partly due to the incredible play of goalie Tim Troutner Jr. who had 19 saves on the day and only gave up 9 goals.
