Providence and Georgetown faced off for the second time this season, this time in the Big East Lacrosse Tournament Semifinals. Providence held a 12-9 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, but Georgetown outscored the Friars 4-to-zip over the final quarter and secured themselves a spot in the Big East Finals this weekend.

Lucas Wittenberg had himself a game for the Hoyas going for 1 goal and 8 assists in the win. Jake Carraway scored a hatrick and Declan McDermott went for 1 goal and 2 assists.

Providence got 3 goals and a dish out of Matt Grillo and Brendan Kearns and Nick Hatzipetrakos each put up 2 goals and an assist in the loss.
