The dive rule was a disaster in college lacrosse this season even though it also provided a lot of excitement. The NCAA Lacrosse Rules Committee will be reviewing the dive rule, how it’s written, and how it’s called this off-season and it will be interesting to see if they make any changes.
I’m a big fan of the dive rule and I’d never want to see it go away, but they have to either simplify it, or make it far more clear so that it’s an easier call for officials.
