Lot’s of games to preview and set lines for in this Week 2 College Lacrosse Weekend Preview Show. Games we’ll talk about include, Penn vs. Maryland, Yale vs Villanova, Rutgers vs Army, Hopkins vs Loyola, Duke vs Denver, Cornell vs Albany and many more.
A couple of legit big time matchups to keep an eye on though. Penn @ Maryland was a great lacrosse game last year and should be again this year. But look out for Maryland having a head start on Penn with this being Penn’s first contest and the Terps third outing.
Duke @ Denver is also going to be a big game. Duke picked up a rebound win over High Point last weekend, but Denver handled the team that upset Duke in week one, Air Force. I actually like Duke to pull out a one or two goal game in this one, but I think Vegas would side with Denver.
Loyola embarrassed Hopkins last year at Homewood, so I think that Hopkins will be looking for a bit of blood when they travel to face crosstown rival Loyola. I like Hopkins in this one, especially if Epstein plays.
Tons of great lacrosse though, Rutgers @ Army, Yale @ Villanova, where Nova has played Yale tough the last two seasons, Cornell @ Albany playing in upstate NY in terrible conditions, Binghamton looking to possibly get beat down by Syracuse in the Dome.
