This is our first ever LaxFactor Division 1 Lacrosse Computer Power Ranking. These rankings are based off an algorithm we are working on that weighs wins, losses, scores said wins and losses against their quality based on numerous factors and far beyond.

NOTE, they won’t be perfect to start, and teams that have “played more games” or so far “played more quality opponents” will rise to the top a bit. You’ll notice Maryland is sitting at #1 because they’ve got a win over a ranked team as does Virginia, and thus far, Penn State does not.

Lastly, only teams that have ALREADY PLAYED are included. If a team hasn’t played yet. They don’t get a score.
