In this weeks 86th LaxFactor Lacrosse Podcast College Lacrosse Recaps Show, we are going to rip through Yale’s loss to UMass, Penn State’s OT win over rival Penn, Princeton’s handling of Johns Hopkins and Notre Dame’s loss to Maryland.

Yale’s goaltending killed them on the day and in the end is the big reason for this loss. UMass held Yale’s known quantities down as well playing a great defensive game. Penn State needed help from almost everyone on their roster to squeak past Penn. Ament was quiet with just 2 goals and 2 helpers, and Mac O’Keefe played hero and netted the game winner in OT.

Hopkins got owned by Michael Sowers and Princeton. Sowers put up 2 goals and 7 assists by the end of the first half, and the Tigers rolled the Jays from there.

Maryland finally put a full four quarters together and the end result was a fairly lopsided victory over a very solid Notre Dame lacrosse team.
