#20 Richmond gave #13 Duke all they could handle in Durham, but Duke was able to pull out a thrilling overtime victory over the pesky Spiders by a final score of 16-15. JT Giles-Harris was formidable on defense causing 4 turnovers while picking up 6 ground balls.

On offense it was the Dyson Williams show with the freshman going for 7 goals off just 9 shots. JP Basile (1g, 4a) and Owen Caputo (3g, 1a) filled out the box score for Duke in the win.

For Richmond, Tyler Shoults put up 3 goals and 3 helpers and Adrian Nash contributed a hatrick in the Richmond loss. Jack Rusbuldt’s 11 saves were key in Richmond forcing overtime. He was outstanding over the first 20 minutes of the game, got a bit shaky around the middle, but finished strong. Duke’s goaltending on the other hand was a horror show.
