The Syracuse lacrosse team hit the road for the first time this year facing Notre Dame and came away losers. Notre Dame jumped all over Syracuse early taking an 11-3 lead into the half, but Syracuse would storm back getting to within 11-9 prior to Notre Dame sealing the deal and taking the 13-10 victory.

Notre Dame was paced by Bryan Costabile’s 5 goal effort and teammate Brendan Gleason (3g, 1a) and Wheaton Jackoboice (2g, 2a) each factored heavily in the Notre Dame win.

Syracuse got 3 goals out of Jamie Trimboli and Bradley Voigt. Trimboli put up an assist as well and Nate Solomon was good for 2 goals and an assist in the Syracuse loss.

Drake Porter struggled in cage for Cuse going for 6 saves vs 11 goals against before being replaced by Luke Strang (5 saves vs 2 goals against). Matt Schmidt got the win in cage for Notre Dame making 6 saves vs 9 goals against.
