Penn State traveled to College Park to take on Big 10 foe Maryland and jumped out to a huge 8-1 lead early en-route to a 13-10 win overall.
Grant Ament was back playing for Penn State which was good, but he was quiet with just 2 assists. It was Jack Kelly (3g, 1a) and Mac O’Keefe (2g, 2a) that did most of the heavy lifting for Penn State in the win.
Maryland was paced by Jared Bernhardt’s 3 goals and 2 helpers, and Anthony DeMaio was good for a goal and 2 assists and Logan Wisnauskas went for 1 goal and a dish in the Maryland loss.
