The Michigan Wolverines lacrosse squad walked into South Bend Indiana and handed the Notre Dame Fighting Irish a 13-12 loss, their 2nd of the season. They were able to do so thanks to a monster day by lefty midfielder Brent Noseworthy (dope name bro) who tallied 5 goals and an assist on the day, finishing in close nearly every opportunity he was given.

With the win, the biggest in program history for Michigan, the Wolverines improve to 6-2 on the season (dropping ND to 4-2), and prove that they are for real. They hadn’t played anyone of ND’s caliber yet this year, so their 5-2 record didn’t necessarily speak to their actual prowess as a team, but this road win against a very, very good Notre Dame team puts them on the map for real.

Ryder Garnsey had a big day putting up 5 goals for the Irish, and Bryan Costabile, the 2nd year sniper put up 3 goals.
