Maryland took on Penn State in a Sunday night showcase and brought down the Nittany Lions by a score of 13-12. It was a big win on the road for the Terps, and after Albany got dropped by UMBC on Friday, it should be interesting to see who the new #1 will be tomorrow in the polls with Maryland being an obvious favorite.

The day belonged to Connor Kelly as the senior standout merked Penn State for 6 goals and an assist, and made sure the defense knew about it, chirping brilliantly at key points of the game where he proved Penn State had no answer for him.

Dan Morris stood strong between the pipes for the Terps coming up with 12 saves on 24 shots faced. Logan Wisnauskas scored a hatrick, and Jared Bernhardt was good for 2 goals and an assist.

Mac O’Keefe put up 3 goals and an assist for the Nittany Lions in the loss, and teammates Dylan Foulds (3g, 1a) and Nick Spillane (2g, 2a) both had a great showing as well.
