Drake Porter (Syracuse) and Turner Uppgren (Duke) were a big reason this game was such a low scoring affair. Each goalie had an incredible game, but it was Drake Porter that made one more save than Uppgren so Porter officially won the “lax goalie battle”.
Porter finished the game with 12 saves vs just 8 goals against to Uppgren’s 11 saves vs 9 goals against.
