TD Ierlan proved to be way too much for Cornell’s face-off crew to handle as the junior phenom went on to win 21 of 27 draws helping Yale to a 15-10 win in the Ivy League Lacrosse Tournament Semifinals.

Ierlan finished the game with a goal and 16 ground balls for Yale. Jackson Morrill (3g, 3a) and Matt Brandau (5g, 1a) each tallied 6 points for Yale in the win and Jack Tigh was good for 3 goals and a dish.

Jeff Teat was the only answer Cornell had as he went for 5 goals in the loss. Jake McCulloch (1g, 1a) and John Piatelli (2g) each tallied 2 points for the Big Red.

Yale goalkeeper Jack Starr had a solid day in cage with 12 saves vs 10 goals against and TD’s younger brother Chayse Ierlan was tough in net for Cornell with 17 saves.
