Syracuse hosted Denver at SUNY Cortland this past weekend, and we’ll talk about it in the first ever Syracuse Lacrosse Podcast #1 and this episode will double as the LaxFactor Lacrosse Podcast #53 as well so that I could work some other random fall ball action into the end.
Denver ran a clinic on Saturday morning, the day of the scrimmage and local coaches said that went great.
In the actual scrimmage, we saw the return of Tucker Dordevic, as he scored the games first goal (finished with 2 on the day). We saw Chase Scanlan wearing the #22, and we also saw him score his first two goals with the Orange.
Griffin Cook got the start at attack and looked great putting up 3 goals on the day.
Both Goalies looked good coming up with saves early. Porter getting it done for Cuse, and whoever Denver had in also played well.
Eleven players scored for Syracuse, Griffin Cook put up a hatrick, Brendan Curry, Chase Scanlan and Jamie Trimboli each scored two goals. I believe Tucker Dordevic also had two goals, including a sick toe drag.
