In this LaxFactor Lacrosse Film Review, we are going to watch and discuss numerous clips showing guys catching the ball ready to shot. Some call it catching the ball “loaded” and that would be a very accurate description.

When you anticipate you’re going to have time and room as a feed approaches you, making sure your feet are set and your shoulder is facing your target sets you up for success by allowing you to catch and release much more quickly and accurately. This makes sure the defense doesn’t have the time necessary to slide to you, and the goalie has very little time to get prepared for your shot.
